Direct Messaging among Members in your Community
In both the desktop and mobile version, your Members can click on another Member's avatar and send an email directly from your Community Product.
First, your Member must be logged into their account and inside your Community Product.
- From either the Feed or a Topic, a Member can hover over another Member's avatar and select Send Message.
- From there, they can enter their message and click Send:
This will not reveal the receiving member's email to the person initiating the conversation. The receiving member will first get an email with a preview of the message:
If they "click here" in the first email, then an email response will open in their email provider where both Members can converse directly via email and not directly message in your site:
